I just finished My Friend in the Dark by Samantha M。 Bailey。 It’s a story of a middle aged woman who is going through a rough time。 After leaving their college-aged daughter at the University， her husband tells her he wants a divorce。 She gets involved with an old flame， and the rest of the story is convoluted so I won’t go into details。 While I thought it was fluffy at first， it got better。 Good light read with some psychological thriller parts。

Bailey has done it again。 This hooked me from page 1。 Eden and Justin met 20 years ago at a college party and he has been on her mind since one fateful night back when。 She decides to reach out via Social Media and thus begins a friendship。 Justin knows a little too much about her current affairs， but this does not trigger any alarms。 Eden is just happy to be noticed after a crumbled marriage。This is another page turner by Bailey。
